U.S. Green Building Industry Overview:

As the demand for more sustainable building options increases, green construction has become increasingly profitable and desirable within the global construction market.  Green building systems like Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification and the ICC 700 National Green Building Standard will likely continue to drive demand for green building projects.

Building Green Commercial:                                                   As the below graphic reflects, green building now includes Commercial Structures.  This was not a global focus until the International Standards Organization [ISO] Commercial Building Study of 2015 made it clear that the inner cities may benefit even more than residential communities when it comes to building codes.  Green offices produce the same set of renewable and sustainable benefits, often on a grander scale, than residential.  We are proud to welcome Commercial Builders into the GDD family.
